Consults through Telehealth:

Our way to continuity of care.

The Online Concussion Clinic was developed to offer a more convenient alternative to traditional in-person appointments. Our Telehealth services eliminate the need for travel, along with it’s associated costs and reduces the need for time off work or school.

Our services are particularly valuable for individuals requiring specific guidance and careful planning to safely and efficiently return to sport. They are equally critical for those managing persistent symptoms who need a structured approach to resume to normal life as soon as possible. Meet our experts in concussion care below!

About Us

Liam Sherwood Physiotherapist
  • Liam completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University and became certified in Complete Concussion Management (CCMI) in 2020. Following this, he gained extensive experience working at West Coast Health and High Performance, a private practice specialising in sports injuries and workers’ compensation cases.

Recently, Liam completed his Masters by medical research. His thesis evaluated outcome measures and developed a new tool to evaluate fear avoidance behaviour post-concussion. He hopes that his tool can be implemented in clinic to identify those at risk of persisting symptoms.

His research in this area has been recognised with the Marcus J. Rosen Fund grant, awarded by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), enabling him to present his research at the Sports Medicine Australia Conference on the Gold Coast in 2022. He won “Best Poster Presentation in Clinical Sports Medicine” at the most recent Sports Medicine Australia conference in Tasmania in December 2025.

In 2023, he published his first research paper in the prestigious Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT) and has now published a second study on the development of the FACT.

Liam is also pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Notre Dame University, which he is set to complete in 2026.
