In order to understand a patient’s current condition, a short discussion on how the injury occurred, any treatment already received, and an assessment of your current symptoms will be assessed first.

This includes a comprehensive examination of:

1. The Neurological System (cranial nerves, cerebellum & autonomic function)

2. Cognitive Function

3. Vestibular-Ocular Motor Function (the eyes & ears)

The start of the treatment management plan will involve education on concussion and what the expected timeframe for the resolution of symptoms based on your condition will be.

Patients will then be provided with exercises that address any dysfunctions found in the physical examination, along with a clear plan on how to return to normal life, including sport.

The practitioner can then provide documentation/report writing upon request.
