What We Offer

We have refined our baseline testing strategy to ensure maximum objectivity by partnering with Complete Concussion Management Inc (CCMI). The more assessment completed, the more robust the data is. That’s why we combine objective testing with a 15-minute telehealth appointment to gain that extra valuable knowledge.

  • DANA neurocognitive testing assesses reaction time, working memory, spatial memory and cognitive throughput through brief computerized subtests: Simple Reaction Time measures basic alertness; Procedural Reaction Time evaluates choice and response selection; Go/No-Go tests inhibitory

  • We use an app-based system to generate objective balance measures of postural sway in a variety of positions. This objective data is far superior to traditional subjective scoring methods.

  • We obtain a baseline concussion symptom score for each client so there is a clear, objective point of comparison if a concussion occurs. This score captures current symptoms and functioning, making it easier to detect meaningful changes after a head injury and to guide treatment decisions.

  • We conduct a telehealth consultation to review prior concussions, assess risk factors for persistent post-concussive symptoms, and educate the client regarding signs and symptoms to monitor.

2. Objective Data

Once booked, you will receive an email outlining the process of completing our objective measures

3. Telehealth Appointment

We schedule a 15-minute appointment to ensure the data is accurate and discuss previous concussion history

Baseline testing is eligible for private health insurance rebates when conducted through a telehealth appointment.
